09:30 - After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our tour with the Baku Old City
(Icherisheher), the historical core of Baku. The Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage
Site and is home to significant landmarks such as the Maiden Tower and the Palace of
the Shirvanshahs.
10:00 - 10:30 – Maiden Tower – A symbol of Baku with a rich history.
10:30 - 11:00 – Palace of the Shirvanshahs - A magnificent palace of the historic
rulers of Azerbaijan.
11:00 - 11:30 - Juma Mosque and Old Caravanserais - Visit the ancient mosque and
explore the caravanserais, which served as resting places for traders.
11:30 - 12:00 – Museum of Miniature Books – Discover the world's smallest collection
of books.
12:00 - 13:15 – Lunch - Enjoy traditional Azerbaijani cuisine at a local restaurant.
13:15 - 14:00 – National Carpet Museum - Learn about the rich history and
craftsmanship of Azerbaijani carpets.
14:00 - 14:30 – Little Venice – A charming boat ride on the canals of Baku Boulevard.
14:30 - 15:00 – Ferris Wheel – Enjoy panoramic city views from the Ferris Wheel.
15:00 - 16:00 – Nizami Street - Stroll along this famous shopping street, full of
modern stores and historical buildings.
16:00 - 17:00 - Fountains Square - Relax in one of Baku's most famous public squares,
which is lively in the evenings.
17:00 - 18:00 – Return to Hotel - Conclude the day's tour with a comfortable return
to the hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel, the tour will start. Gobustan State Historical and
Cultural Reserve, located 64 km southwest of Baku, is rich in archaeological
monuments. The Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape covers 537 ha and features
over 6,000 rock carvings, dating back 5,000-20,000 years, depicting people, animals,
battles, ritual dances, and more. Azerbaijan is home to the most mud volcanoes in the
world, with 350 out of 700 located here. To visit the Mud Volcanoes, you will need a
Lada taxi from Gobustan, then enjoy a peaceful drive back to your hotel in Baku.
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Drive to Gobustan Depart from the hotel for a scenic 1-hour
drive to Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM - Explore Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape, Explore the
ancient rock carvings and petroglyphs, dating back 5,000-20,000 years, with a guided
tour.
12:30 PM – 01:30 PM – Visit Mud Volcanoes Travel to the Gobustan complex.

10:00 - 12:00 – Absheron Tour - Begin your journey to explore the fascinating "Fire
Mountain" - Yanardag, located 25 km north of Baku on the Absheron Peninsula.
Yanardag, meaning "Blazing Mountain," is a natural wonder where flames dance
continuously on the rocky hillside, fueled by natural gas beneath the surface. It is a
striking testament to Azerbaijan's nickname, the "Land of Fire." Continue with a visit to
the historic Ateshgah Fire Temple, a place of worship once used by Zoroastrians and
Hindus. The temple's name, derived from the Persian word "Atash," meaning fire, reflects
its centuries-old religious significance.
13:00 - 14:00 – Lunch - Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.
14:30 - 15:30 – Heydar Aliyev Center - Discover one of the world's most iconic pieces
of modern architecture, the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by the renowned
architect Zaha Hadid. The 57,500 m2 structure is famous for its flowing, curved lines,
avoiding sharp angles and standing as a symbol of contemporary Azerbaijan. (Photo

15:30 - 16:00 – Return to Hotel – After a day full of experiences, return to the hotel
for a relaxing evening.

08:30 AM – 10:30 AM – Drive to Shahdag Enjoy a 2-hour drive through the mountains
and countryside as you head to Shahdag Mountain Resort.

short briefing about the activities and the schedule for the day.
